Classes Beginning in New & Renovated Rooms at Christopher Elementary as Construction Nears Completion

Christopher Unit School District No. 99 is completing the year-long construction and renovation of Christopher Elementary School and classes are using the new facilities this school year.  The office is now adjacent to our fron door, and w
e have renovated classrooms of the south wing with new construction of a junior high science lab, six classrooms and a gymnasium (which will be delayed due to high humidity).


The new and renovated classrooms each consist of over 860 square feet are being equipped with up-to-date technology ensuring a safe learning environment that is tailored to our students’ educational needs. Grades K-3 will be utilizing the new and renovated classrooms.


The main funding mechanism are proceeds from the 1% School Facility Sales Tax.
