Construction Nearing Completion at Christopher Elementary


Christopher Unit School District No. 99 is completing the year-long construction and renovation of Christopher Elementary School this August in preparation for the 2014-15 school year.

 

We are completely renovating of the corridor that houses the main office and the nine classrooms of the south wing.  New construction consists of a junior high science lab, six classrooms and a gymnasium.

 

The new and renovated classrooms each consist of over 860 square feet are being equipped with up-to-date technology ensuring a safe learning environment that is tailored to our students’ educational needs. Grades K-3 will be utilizing the new and renovated classrooms.

 

The main funding mechanism are proceeds from the 1% School Facility Sales Tax.
